nice "spin"
JB is full of it!
I tried going through, while IN uniform, about 10 months ago and was told by the TSA Officer that we were not in the program and had not been since the trial program. The only reason we're in it is because it benefits the Company. Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah everyone! fbh |
I for one can thank them for the effort and still do my part to get a fair contract. I would like to know when it is effective, yes I know you can go through screening on 13 Jan without your uniform on.

Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah everyone! fbh How many times have you heard (from Management, Union, etc.), that the REASON (only reason if you believe the missive) FedEx pilots don't have KCM is because 'the company' was concerned that if a pilot changed out of the uniform after clearing KCM, that they could get in trouble. Our supposed transparent management left that out of the discussion for the last 2-3 years? I call BS on that excuse. But if true, hey thanks FedEx for working so dilligently with the TSA to get it changed. |

It is BS. I was told ALPA National pursued this issue and TSA had no problem with us doing that. I also heard it from TSA at a conference in DC.
The company didn't want to pay the money. They wanted us to negotiate and give up something in return. The uniform issue was not solved by ALPA either. It was a matter of time before that happened, but don't let that get in the way of people taking credit for it...hmmm can you say future management, especially since the guy named in the FCIF was fired in his union jobs... I thank CAPA for getting this done, despite ALPA unfortunately. (I actually wonder if we did give up something...) |
Company's just trying to buy a little good will while they continue to delay our contract.

I think it just did the opposite, at least to those paying attention. Taking credit for something not earned, and misrepresenting the true reasons will not garner trust and good will. True or not? Just because they put up an article on the website doesn't make it factual. Yes, it's gotten that bad.
