Default Passover Pay

I've searched and read the threads on passover pay. I have a question about the companies (FedEx) interpretation of

Sec 24.D.2.a.iii

Specifically
the junior pilot’s activation delays the training and activation of the senior pilot(s);

Would a junior pilot transitioning from 57CA to 67CA delay an initial 67CA?

Section 24.D.2 :
2. Passover Pay Due To Junior Pilot's Early Activation

a. In case of a junior pilot's activation to a higher paying position out of seniority order, every senior pilot who meets the following prerequisites shall be paid as if he had activated in that higher paying position (passover pay):
i. the junior pilot and the senior pilot(s) hold an award for the same crew position; and
ii. the junior pilot's award is from the same posting as the senior pilot's award or from a subsequent posting; and
iii. the Company chooses to activate the junior pilot prior to the senior pilot(s) and the junior pilot's activation delays the training and activation of the senior pilot(s).

I'm sure you could find a scenario where that is the case, but 99.9% of the time, no.

Personnel Officer: Wanna work uptown at nights? South Bronx? Harlem?
Travis Bickle: I'll work anytime, anywhere.

Yes, it is possible to get passover pay. Look closely at the HKG 767 training letter and you may find one or two.

As Nocturnalmishun pointed out, the likelihood is very low.

Cause factors could be a large overage in the 75CA seat that he is leaving, or in the case of CGN, time to get outta Dodge for tax purposes.

HKG has issues because many current HKG CA bid back to the H76CA, yet the company has to keep enough pilots out there to operate the Buses until the Boeings are in place and manned enough to operate on their own.
