Does anyone know about how many pilots UPS has in the pool right now?

I know there's at least one......Me.

I'm with you. Swimming just over 2 months now.

Make it 3 ... only been swimming a month.

I'm in. Although the pool is fairly cold in Alaska. I guess it could be called sledding instead of swimming.

Make that a definite 4. I am cautiously optimistic. At the end of last year I heard from a couple sources that the pool was almost non-existent (am guessing at less than 15 or 10). The holidays slowed everything down, only 1 class in Dec. Finally the holidays are over and it's back to full hiring mode of 2 classes a month! I have been in the pool for 20 months and figure the only way I'll ever get a class is if the pool is totally drained. I think this will happen with all the training that will take place this year.
I'm guessing that me and a couple others on this board and flightinfo just barely made it into the pool, but we did make it into the pool and hopefully will be called. That will be a sweet day for the others and myself:D

6 weeks for me, I'll try not to blow bubbles in the pool.

Hey all,
I heard there is about 60+ in. As far as I know it can grow to more since last year I heard there was 70+. Anyway I believe that with the latest hiring numbers and some of the website issues, maybe us swimmers will catch a wave and get to class. Keeping the faith and stay warm. See ya in ANC.

I've been in since Mar '06 and have heard pool numbers are around 50-60.

Hopefully the call will come soon!
