Default SouthernAir Installs AED's On It's B777F's

After headquarters installed defibrillators (AED's) around the office the pilots started asking about installing them onboard the aircraft. The office is only a few minutes away from advanced cardio care while an aircraft mid-Pacific is a long, long way from help. The argument was helped when one of the ground school instructors suffered a near-fatal heart attack while at work. The units have been installed on the 777's and online training has commenced.

The units are similar to this: Lifeline VIEW AED | Defibtech

If your airline hasn't done this for their pilot group you might want to ask why. If little ol' SouthernAir can do it any other airline can.

After today's conference call they'll probably pull the batteries on those units to get rid of all those problematic "Seniority Issues".
