I prefer the CD version of TurboTax over the downloaded version. I don't use the online only versions because I want to be able to open previous tax returns with the version they were created with, just in case that were ever necessary.
For what it's worth, I bought the current retail version of TurboTax Premier from Amazon for less than $70 including shipping. You can use it to prepare unlimited returns and it includes 5 free federal return electronic filings.

As someone who has used Turbotax forever, I switched to H&R Block Tax Software 14 Deluxe + State this year due to the bait and switch Turbotax attempted. The free upgrade was only offered after the mass exodus (of which I am a part of) that happened as word got out that Deluxe wasn't going to cut it anymore and you would have to get Premier to do what Deluxe did in years past. I got H&R Block Tax Software 14 Deluxe + State for 21.99 through Amazon. I was able to import last year's Tubotax return and it was just as easy to use as Turbotax. I was very pleased with it and it is much cheaper than Turbotax. It includes 5 free federal efiles and 1 free state efile. Not going back to tubotax.
