UPS has decent pay and benefits, but nothing extraordinary like some here make to believe. I have plenty of friends that are business professionals, etc that make more than I do, and they are not gone from family nearly as much.
Movement is non-exist ant so new hires will be junior with the crappiest of the crap for a long time. And yes the bottom is that bad. Might as well be at a non-sched with all the days away from home. Oh go ahead and move to Louisville like the one dude (Seinfeld) on here says, haha, have fun with that cause you'll probably be displaced to Anchorage or Ontario before you get furloughed. Yes, I think we will furlough again.
When you throw in all the other bs, I would not recommended anybody to come here. Yes it seriously sucks that bad.

They just ruined another 24 pilots live and there will be more. Stay far away from this sht-hole.

Show us all the facts of what was weird. Show us all the facts of the, "or else". And yes.......as pilot7576 correctly pointed out, it's your attitude that is so child-like. You behave on this forum like a little boy.

I definitely wouldn't come to UPS without a solid plan B and C in the works and ready to go. Regarding UPS MD crews in HK, drinking beer and being miserable, how can one possibly be in HK, drinking beer AND be miserable?

So 9 days later and what?

Crickets from both sides. Yes this is ALL the companies doing, but I was hoping we would have brought this to light somehow.

Never mind....

Carry on.

Come ON Man, this delay is the result of an "internal company-wide review" that includes airline operations ... it will be completed in the "near future" ... and we will be kept informed of "pertinent developments"

These things take time, the wheel wasn't re-invented overnight !

they probably decided to truck more volume and upsize jets on certain routes which will require less pilots. You can be sure the internal company review won't be good for the employees. More with less kinda thing. Wonder when the training center lease in ANC is up? They might even bring the MD-11s to ONT and a couple 747s to SDF to consolidate all the cities with two flights a night to one flight. Anchorage base will go bye bye.

That's true. Do you know why UPS is no longer in NASCAR?

Most races they turn left. That goes against the grain since UPS only wants to turn right.

This is a company wide Freeze on all hiring, this includes part time box handlers, every department. They treated the pilot hires the same as they would a common hourly, part timer. Which is the way they treat every employee at UPS, a number and a liability.
