UPS 747F on base

Does anyone have a clue when -400f arrives on base? Also, when is the bid supposed to post for classes and how many are for ANC/SDF? Has the training dept been set up yet and where is it going to be done.
Stay warm, see ya in ANC

From AirUPSer.com:

>The first aircraft, tail number N570UP, is due to be delivered this June, one of eight orders for new 747s.<

The bid has already been posted and awarded. 30 crews initially, bid award effective date is Nov. 2007, line crews to start training Aug. 2007.

All 30 CA positions were awarded, only 10 FO positions were filled. (meaning newhires to the 744). All are ANC based. Current planning is that all 744 will be in ANC. However, things seem to change regularly. This may as well.

Training to be done in LGB, and I believe SJC (NASA).
