I would be very happy to apply to any job posting in reference to a DC8 position. However, I am sickened to the point of overwhelming nausea that any (read ANY) organization related to a religious sect would even consider posting a job description on an aviation site such as this one. Either you are very hard up on your corruption dues or you are a scam.

WTH is your problem dude... Samaritan's Purse is a well known and respected international christian aide organization based in NC. They have had a aviation division for at least two decades. If you aren't interested fine.. no reason to be an asshat.

I read through the mission statements and having lived/grown up in that part of the world that is embarrassingly rife with organizations in a race to outdo each other with high fives and back slapping over their own church building and missionary accomplishments, much to the amusement of the locals. I find it very distasteful that they solicit professionals with the same ideals.

Maybe they have a following that will comply but most drivers are hungry sincere professionals with no ideals and trying to use spiritual tactics is a bit low brow. Faith will not fill the bellies alone...

Not a problem Herc. Not trying to be an asshat. Could be I came across a bit crass but I've seen firsthand the impotence of these organizations and cringe at the thought of anyone getting caught up in this unknowingly and want to bring in another perspective.

You could have just said that right from the beginning Broekn. I too have done work (U.N., Unicef and Word for food) on contract and no organization is perfect. The ****off bit was not really necessary is all.
