Emerald Coast

Hello,

Has anyone used Emerald Coast's telephone prep for interview prep (especially for FDX or UPS)? I'm trying to determine if buying an airline ticket and flying to EC for a 1 day seminar outweighs simply calling them on the phone from my home. From their website it looks like half the day is online training that I can do at home anyway...

Thanks for any info

Are you going to interview at FDX or UPS in person, or by phone? . . . . I thought so.

Emerald Coast has many success stories, they are worth the time, $ and effort. Your interview will be in person, IMO you should do everything you can to do the prep in person, it is worth the effort. There are things they can help you with in person, that just aren't possible via phone, unless they have already met you. You can PM me for more info if needed.

I'm getting ready to sign up for a session...it is worth it. A bud did it about a month ago and it was definitely worth every penny. You won't get the same experience over the phone. Plus you can always do another session and the phone prep, which is included.

I did it by Phone out of nessecity, (TDY at the Time) and it worked Great. I think the Face to Face offers some things that the Phone cannot, but the Phone Method works as well.

HoursHore,

Where you TDY for long and did they let you use the DSN line to call the 1-900 number? :)

Face to Face is probably better but a little more exspensive. :D

I did the prep with EC over the phone. I was really impressed on what I got out of the phone prep.

I did the one day seminar and then phone refresher several months later. If the phone prep is all you can afford, it will be pretty good prep. But you can't beat the experience of sitting in a room with people you don't know watching you answer interview questions and watching them answer questions too. I learned a whole lot about body language and word choice from that experience. I worked with Aaron at the seminar and phone refresher, and I think he is great at what he does. You pay one time and then can go back to another seminar or call for phone refresher as many times as you want, and you get your money back if you don't get hired.

You can't go wrong with either one. My bro did the phone prep and I did the one in person. I'd recommend the one in person, but if you can't make it for whatever reason, then I'd still follow through with the phone seminar. The whole gang at EC is top notch - very knowledgeable, professional, fun and will help you in a number of ways. If your goal is to get hired at an airline, especially FDX, then I'd do it.
