Delay Over; UPS Resumes Hiring
Vacancy Bid to be Posted Today

Today UPS announced that it would proceed with the hiring of the pilots who were originally slated to begin training at the end of March and April. New class dates will be set for the end of April and the end of May.

“This is the right decision for UPS and the right decision for the pilot group. The IPA Executive Board applauds UPS in making the decision to move ahead with hiring these crewmembers.”

A bid will be posted today which will allow IPA members to bid these new positions. Unfilled positions will then be assigned to the incoming new IPA members.

The vacancy bid will close on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 1000 SDF local time.

6 SDF 757 CPTs
6 SDF A300 CPTs
4 SDFZ 757 CPTs
6 SDF 757 FOs
2 SDF A300 FOs

Sure wish they would just hire the folks that are already in the pool.
