Default Fdx. Center gear failure

I can't express how excited and motivated my company makes me. They offer Concessionary Retirement, Concessionary PBS scheduling, put "Ethics" on our napkins, yet steal money from me via deviation bank, and the latest...we get to fly airplanes that break while operating in the envelope. While company reports colossal profits. The crew was lucky this time. Back in '03, the result was; a fire broke out, emergency egress, hull destroyed.

Where do I sign on this 4 yr late CBA?

The '03 accident was a MLG, not center.

I get you want a contract, so do I.

But, what's your point regarding the Gear Issue? The airplane is a 26 year old airplane that was delivered new to FDX. It had a part/system failure. Every airline has this stuff happen.

Are you sure it was new? Did Douglas make DC-10 freighters? For some reason I thought all of our 10's were previous pax airplanes that went through a P2F conversation. (But I could easily be wrong about that!!)

306-316 were new builds for FedEx out of Long Beach. Around the same time as the Air Force was taking KC-10's
