Current is probably not a problem. I think half their lines are 75 trips. Consolidated might be. They wil have to work it so it is attacked one jet at a time. They are just trying to figure out a way to do it without negotiating.

IND currently has two 757 cities making up 3 lines out of 17 in June.

I talked to an IND Capt the other night and he said it was going to be tough to get consolidated in the 76 and he had not touched a 75 since training.

If only there was someplace else to go to get 75 trips. . All they have to do is put one Indy/Mem pairing on every Indy 76 line and the currency problem is fixed. The consolidation is a bigger problem but not insurmountable natural hiring progression and upgrades will get a lot of guys cycling through the 75.

It'd ironic that the MEM LDS 767 operates from SAN to IND, then we hub turn to FNT in the 757? All this going on while they can't get enough flying to stay current in either airplane?? Brilliant !!

I'm in the 75/76 schoolhouse right now. I'm a captain paired with another captain and it's not good. I feel like I'm getting 50% training, plus the pro instructor is constantly badgering us about our flows in the right seat. I wonder if I need 200% training do I get to go through the program 4 times? $aftey Fir$t!

Just make sure you document all of it, put it in a critique and make sure ALPA training committee gets a copy.

Talk to the instructor and then, if you have to, his/her boss. They're there for you,...it's not the other way around. Carpe diem!
