FDX - Live anthrax inadvertently sent by U.S.

"Just Culture".
As in "we tell you JUST what we think you ought to know...."
(Sigh). How this group continually alienates what could potentially be the most gung-ho, positive pilot group in the world in beyond me...
Kudos for the "reportable events" file, however....seems at least like some are trying....

I wonder if they are even going to bother to notify the pilots who flew these flights, or the people who handled these packages. Hey, nobody has reported anthrax symptoms, so it must all be fine, right? If you got sick, how many people would even have anthrax as in the top 1,000 possible causes to tell their doctors?
Here are the top symptoms of Inhalation anthrax:
•Flu-like symptoms, such as sore throat, mild fever, fatigue and muscle aches, which may last a few hours or days
•Mild chest discomfort
•Shortness of breath
•Nausea
•Coughing up blood
•Painful swallowing
As the disease progresses, you may experience:
•High fever
•Trouble breathing
•Shock
•Meningitis — a potentially life-threatening inflammation of the brain and spinal cord
Who would even consider anthrax poisoning?

I got a chuckle out of the signature line of the Managing Director to whom the statement on pfc.com is attributed:
"Corporate Safety, Health & Fire Prevention"
He prevents Fire AND Health?
A strategic comma might clear things up ... or maybe its omission was intentional??
It would be nice to have a pilot advocate group or organization who could insist on identifying and contacting the individuals who spent hours confined in shiny metal pressurized tubes breathing the same air which was circulating around these potentially deadly packages.

Maybe the MD of Health Prevention used O as a proofreader.
