I apologize if this has been answered already;

Are WGA pilots allowed to jumpseat on any other 121 carrier?

Thanks..

Yes

FedEx, UPS, Spirit, Atlas, United Mainline, or anyone else open jumpseat policy. Hopefully more to come soon.

New hire questions

Looked thru the thread, didn't see any information. Was wondering if anyone could provide some answers?

How long is training, where, pay and accommodations?

How are the trips? (16 days = how much flying?, descent hotels?, common to stay out longer than 16?)

How are the commercial flights from home base? (Class - domestic, international?)

Company Credit Card?

Thanks.

Training is about 2 months. Class and Sim is in Miami at the Boeing Facility. Hotel is the Hilton Garden Airport on 36th St. You keep the points.

Training pay is 3k a month until completion of IOE.

The schedule is very line/season dependent. Lots and lots of days off that are separate of your 24 in 7. Expect to be extended to the max 20 days during the busy season Christmas rush.

Commercial flight are all economy. Luckily as you build in status you are usually able to upgrade to economy or better. Don't expect anything direct...

Yes every mechanic and pilot does have a company credit card...

Hope this helps

Wow no kidding? ABX would never let us line dogs have a card. What happens if you charge something and they question it? Just curious.
