757 Registrations
Who has Astar's certificate? Curious if these might go to Florida West/Southern or maybe someone is going to start an Astar V2.0 with the old certificate. I'm 99% sure it wasn't forfeit back to the FAA. ATI has been told to expect one more 757F but that aircraft should be one from Shanghai and AAWW Leasing (just like 588GT).

Either way it will be interesting to see where these end up.

You may have your version of what happened however, the rest of us have ours. After nearly 20 years of flying DHL core product first under the DHL call sign with DHL Airways, then at Astar, and now at Atlas, I feel that I have a very accurate account of what happened during that whole disaster and it is NOT as you have implied.
I can only guess as to your background, but it sounds like you have yet to move on from that debacle and still carry a huge burden of bitterness and resentment. Trust me, you will be a much happier and healthy person if you focus on the future and not dwell on the past. To be mired down by hate and spite over disastrous decisions made by a soulless corporate conglomerate is a waste of your time.
This is not your first inflammatory post on APC. I won't speculate on why you feel the need to be so contrary, but there is much more to be gained with positive and constructive conversations than there is with the negative stuff.
Rather than getting into the details of that era, it would be much better to let that whole episode remain dead instead of trying to resurrect a rotting corpse. Look toward your future and make the most of it.
For what it's worth, many of us former Astar types have found a home at Atlas and have found that the many ABX types who also ended up here are great guys who are a pleasure to spend time with. As it turns out, we have much more in common than with each other than I would have thought; Not the least of which is the shared realization that none of us had the first ounce of ability to alter the outcome of the DHL/Astar/Airborne disaster and looking toward a successful shared future is a lot nicer than wallowing in the cesspool of the past.

Well said 8, well said.
I believe this guy has been outed by the Purple People here as someone who used to go by ***Brain, a FDX poser that has been recently banned I believe. Hence the new registration.
