FedEx Pilot Credentials questions

I have just a few questions for those of you who've done the FedEx Pilot Credentials application.

1. In the flight time section, are we supposed to include instructor time with our PIC time and then break it down into just instructor time? Or should I not include my instructor time with my PIC time?

2. Under certifications, even though I have an ATP should I still check the box for Commercial with instrument rating and the IFR certified box? Did you fill in your instrument time under IFR Certified even though you had an ATP? I know it goes without saying if you have your ATP you have both of these but does FedEx still want them checked? I just want to make sure I'm not giving myself a bad score right off the bat.

3. How do you handle former employers that have changed names and merged? I worked for Mesaba which became Pinnacle after we were bought. After I left they changed the name again to Endeavor. I'm just wondering whats best to put down on my work experience.

I think airlineapps is the only one that has you seperate PIC from your instructor time. I filled mine out like I'd fill out a logbook so for example if PIC was 4000 and instructor time was 1500, I'd put those number in the respective columns without doing extra math.

As far as the boxes go, I checked every single one I have or had/did. If the computer is hunting and pecking it probably is scored in a way the higher level is what you get credit for.

I worked for XJT and they're still XJT so I got lucky there. However, after the merger their address changed from Houston to Atlanta. I use the Atlanta address on apps even though I didn't work there when it was ATL because I assume the point is so they can track down the company.

Anyway, I haven't gotten a call or anything, just a fellow applicant so thought I'd share how I handled it. Hope that helps! I'd like some detail too. I always wonder what documents to upload besides a resume. All the applications are a mystery in themselves. Like if you have a box you write an aircraft type...will B767, B-767, Boeing 767 all trigger something or only one of them? Etc...

I don't know what your online app looks like. However, I was in a similar situation. Additionally, I had a friend who was an HR mgr at my last airline. Your employer was Mesaba, they still have all of your records. Make sure that you put a good address and phone contact for them. Your prospective employer will move forward according to their companies protocol.

Good Luck !!
