Unfortunately, no International Jumpseats on FedEx ... Sorry.

And to the rest of the Cargo & Passenger carrying world that allows us to jumpseat anyway ... Thank you very much!

I know I've seen the justification for this somewhere before but I can't remember the reason. JS agreements are supposed to be reciprocal so I'm not sure how FedEx, UPS, AA, and a few others get away with their selective international agreements. I'm not suggesting restricting your access but you guys really need to fix ours.

I live near Everett and Atlas doesn't let anyone jump seat on the Dream Lifter including their own pilots. I suspect it's a Boeing thing. It would be a cool ride!

It is so freaking cramped up there, it really wouldnt be comfortable on a long ride. It is looks something like this with more than two people.

When it comes to reciprocity with Fedex and UPS, it's the TSA that gets in the way.

There's certain security directives that the ACMI's comply with that Fedex and UPS don't. Hence an ACMI being able to take JS'ers int'l. As long as it's not a DOD contact or their customer doesn't prohibit it, which has happened on occasion

As far as AA is concerned, yep, dumbest ever. But I believe that's going, or has gone away with their merger. "If you're airline can't take me to Europe, Asia, South America, we can't take you there".

That is a typical UPS MD-11 going SDF-CGN on any given morning. Crew of 3 operating, crew of 2 B767 positioning for intra-Europe flying. And possibly 2 others travelling on their own for various reasons.

Amen. I just did two trips to Europe on United. Dulles to Paris and back, Dulles to Heathrow and back. They were great all 4 flights, and besides very small tax payments, free. Awesome. Thanks to all my other/nice airline brothers and sisters... wish we did the same at Fedex.

That's the Kalitta jumpseat link. A good option if you want to travel the following systems - CVG/BRU/LEJ/BAH/DEL/HKG/ANC, ICN/ANC/MIA/JFK, LAX/HNL, or JFK/AMS

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that you get discounted rate shipping, at the very same price we get.;)

For that, we should get passes on every other airline, at the same rate their employees pay.
