Erhlthcovg??
Fedex pay stub. Does anyone know what "&@erhlthCovg" is in our paycheck? Does it have to do with Obama care? It appears that this is added to our taxable income. After reviewing my pay stubs in 2012, this line did not exist. It's adding 23,000 to my gross. Thanks

Pretty sure we are not taxed on our healthcare. Yet. I know that is the intention, eventually, but there would be a public outcry, they couldn't hide that. Is it added to your total income, or why do you think it is taxed?

I believe it is getting the accounting set up to do the "Cadalic Tax" which was proposed by Obama on out Company provided health care. It hasn't passed yet which makes me wonder why the Corporation is placing this on out paystubs now?

In previous past year, maybe two years iirc, it was listed in Box 12 D of your W-2. I added up my numbers and it's not included in my gross pay number. Also, look on your pay stub: it tells you & code means non taxed.

The "Cadillac Tax" is in the current version of the ACA. The version that passed phased in the implementation of said tax. ALPA has been working on a fix for this problem for some time as it was never the intent to tax the "ordinary working Joe" (us!). Most Members of Congress agree. I believe the Budget that the Government signed last week postponed the tax for 2 more years? MM  |
However, even if the Cadillac tax was not postponed, it shouldn't be included on our pay statements as income. The Cadillac tax is a tax that the corporations pay, not the employees (though of course they will try to pass that on to the employees). So I couldn't imagine any reason that it would be shown as income, goose must have read that incorrectly.

But as we found out in the recent negotiations, all taxes are eventually passed on to either the customers or the workers. The Cadillac tax will come out of my pocket one way or the other. |
Come on!
Can't you guys open your hearts and help out the 47% who need your help? After all, Bernie thinks income should be more equal and he's running for president, so he must be smart! |
