767's at FedEx?

I heard a rumor a couple of days ago on the crew bus that UPS is upset with FedEx because we purchased 767's from Air Canada before UPS had the chance. The cockpit would be dual qual with the 757. Only question is, if this happens, would the 767 and 757 be wide body pay or narrow body pay? Anyone heard this?

AC 767s really available?

I had read that they're currently upgrading all the interiors across their fleet this year

and weren't looking to sell off the 767s just yet. Need to ask an Air Canada pilot about this...

UPS 767's

With today's announcement I don't think UPS cares.

I'm just a caveman pilot, but if and when Fred does decide to send the man in the purple suit with a bag of money would the 767 and our Airbuses have similar capabilites? Maybe some UPS guys could clarify this since they fly both.

Just wondering.

Jethro...

The boeing product next to the airbus product at ups is really no comparison except for price. Although the bus may be cheaper (at least in initial pricing) the 767 goes farther, faster and carries more than the 300. The only pilots at ups that are impressed with flying the 300 are those who have never flown on the 757/767.

The only thing the 300 does better is segregate the jumpseaters out of the cockpit. It is a good js a/c, but I'm glad I'm flying the boeing.
