Somethings never change. Old Daves been spewing the same BS from day one.
To the Supreme Captain Amerijet himself that posted above. Ef u.
Amerijet is also the same place that had you holding your crap in for hours due to no lavs on the airplanes. Thanks Dave! One thing the teamsters shoved up your ass.
Amerijets the same place that had no problem sending its crews out on over 24 hour duty days.
Amerijets also the same place that furloughed me as a captain after giving them 7 years of hard work. That's right! No right seat for me after I worked the right seat and FE panel. How about a furlough by seniority in seat.
Then I was offered a job back a few months later as a new hire captain off the street by a criminal chief pilot who was arrested shortly after. I passed on the offer btw.
That's just a few reasons Dave deserves to have a union shoved up his ass the remained of his days on this planet.

I remember those days. Although I haven't worked there in a long time, it is important for the IBT to keep stepping on Dave's neck. He keeps the same "management" people in there for decades now, and they believe themselves heroes by fighting the pilot group. Dave and all will get theirs soon enough.

I don't get it. If one quits, the how can they be on the B727, by the way one of the finest jets that Boeing designed. If one quits, then one is no longer employed. Am I missing something?

We are very pleased to announce that today we start a new chapter at Amerijet and ITN, with a new partner, ZS Fund, and a new CEO, Vic Karjian. As we shared with you back in March, ZS Fund L.P. and Amerijet Holdings earlier this year entered into an agreement for ZS Fund to acquire Amerijet Holdings and its subsidiaries, including Amerijet International and ITN Worldwide. The Department of Transportation has now approved that transaction, and the acquisition was successfully completed earlier today.
Amerijet and ITN will continue with no immediate changes in our business and operations. Our founder, David Bassett, will be moving on to a consulting role, something he has definitely earned after his many years of building this company, and will be available to support our new CEO. Vic is a seasoned senior aviation executive who has over 42 years of experience in the airline/aviation and logistics industry, and we welcome him aboard. Vic has expressed repeatedly how impressed he is with the team and culture at Amerijet and that he looks forward to working with all of you. With your help, we look forward to continued growth and success. To the top!
Seems like HIG Capital gave up the ship. Dave was not being allowed any more money to develop business strategies. After the Reno fiasco, why would they? Too bad for his "management" team and the merry band of scabs that did his bidding. With Sklylease/Centurion teetering on the brink, the 36th street plantation owners may go extinct. Funny, even after the sale of AJT, their spokesperson used the Kandy G. phrase "To the top!". Strange, in a Stockholm Syndrome kinda way.

Since Amerijet is Teamsters 769, and not 1224, there is nothing holding them back from pursuing DHL work at a rate much lower than the 1224 carriers. Although Amerijet hasn't been an ACMI contender for many years, with new owners looking to get into ACMI again this may be something that 1224 should be concerned about.
