Interview with ATLAS coming up, favor?

* Disclaimer* Yes I am aware of the huge thread about Atlas.

To give me a better idea of the schedules on the 747 and the 767 is there someone here who would be willing to share a copy of the most recent bid packet so I can get a taste of what the lines look like?

Thanks!

Send a PM to ATPCliff, He is a F'N expert on everything at Atlas, just ask him!

There is no reason to send you a copy of our schedules because we never fly them. 90% of the time you will not fly the schedule that you are awarded. We have no schedule protection and no pay protection. Seniority means almost nothing at Atlas as it pertains to schedules. We are all defacto reservists. Basically, you are bidding only for your DAYS of work and your days off, not the actual trips. If you can't accept that, then don't come here because you will be miserable. As far as the bidding lines go, they are a mesh of 30 and 60 day lines. Some have big blocks of time on (17 days), others are split into smaller blocks. You always have at least 5 days off between work blocks (with some small exceptions).

In other words, we are charter pilots!

Correct. If you cannot accept that fact, then do not come to Atlas. You will be miserable and frustrated.

This is a charter operation. You bid for a day off footprint in 30 or 60 day blocks. The schedule here is way more predictable than the world I came from which was on call 365 24/7. I think it's fine and allows me a far better quality of life. Then you have those who get butt hurt when their 52 hour layover in Sydney gets replaced with something totally different.

Atlas is not a scheduled airline, it is and will always be a charter operation. I knew that coming in, but I think some people are surprised by that fact every day.

Charter pilots with actual days off, and more than 4 total!

Is all of ATLAS flight time considered 135, or 121 since it's a charter outfit?

It is part 121

And ATPCliff just re-writes what he reads as truth. Has for years. I take everything he says as just stories. Atlas must not have a sim eval to have hired him. Keep in mind he was terminated by USA Jet.
