Well the fact is we still are ACMI carriers and now have another contract to fulfill just like we do with DHL, the U.S. Military etcetera...We're not a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon and still have to compete with other ACMI carriers to keep the contract.

You don't have to settle for a "B" or "C" scales to be an ACMI driver. Times are changing as staffing is becoming an issue from the regionals through the ACMI's. I hear ATLAS ABX Kalita and others are working to move the bar.
Others like ATI are happy with "B" scales, especially for the new guys. Pay scales are frozen and only the 12 year guys get a cost of living increase as an escalating 2% yearly bonus. (1st yr 2%, 2nd yr 4%, 3rd yr 6% etc.) as part of the 2014 merger agreement. 1-11 year pilots, your out of luck.
I hear there is no hope for a new agreement at ATI. The senior guys don't want to blow their bonus. I hope thats not true. The Amazon deal is intriguing for a possible ACMI airline Job. Atlas is the only real choice that is hiring currently.

Yes, our pilots who have topped out at the 12 yr scale are getting the 2% compounding yearly escalating raise.
No, our pay scales for everyone else are not frozen. Our group is in Section 6 Negotiations with the Company. If the Company froze our pay, they would be in violation of status quo. Everyone with less than 12 yr seniority gets their yearly contractual raises.
Both sides had seemed to settle into a "let's wait and see" posture regarding moving forward and this Amazon deal. Now that the deal, in principle is in place, it's my understanding that Mgt is wanting to move forward.
No, our group is not satisfied nor seeking to be a "B" scale carrier. But I thank you for your concern.
