FedEx D/H to NRT

Do any of you guys know of any good Airlines to DH on. I have a DH from MEM-NRT, and was looking at taking someone else, rather than NW.
Any recommendations?
I am deviating from the West coast, so SEA, PDX, LAX, SFO are all options. Would like to get the miles on NW, but would use one of there codeshare partners, JAL???

Thanks

I think NWA is your best bet. Plus you will get the miles...I know UAL also has lots of flights to NRT though?

Scroll halfway down the page & look on the left hand column. There is a flight finder that you might find useful. Just plug in the departure city, arrival city, and date you want to travel.

The United departure out of Seattle will get you to the Hilton around 3pm. Just enough time for a quick nap & time to catch the the 5:30 bus to the Jet Lag. The PDX and SFO departures touchdown around 4:30 local, so really not much difference.

American, Delta, Korean Air, and United all come to mind. Delta is a code sharing partner with North West. Don't know how much bank you have, but United is probably the most expensive, then NW, then American (I assume). Why not try Korean Air? I hear they give great flight and a very happy ending. :D Probably no frequent flier miles however. The true paradox for the cheap airline pilot: a happy ending but no frequent flier miles.:(

Fedex, NW is going to probably be your cheapest way when going First or Business class. You could try American out of LAX, but I don't think they're as cheap as NW. JAL will only give you NW FF miles when you fly within Japan- anything flying into and out of Japan on JAL is NOT eliglble for NW miles.
By the way, if you've got a DH to Osaka sometime, try using NW to NRT, and then catch the ANA flight that leaves 2 hours later and goes to the Osaka Itami airport. It's a quick 25 minute, 600 yen bus ride directly from baggage claim to the Namba station. The bus leaves every 20 minutes from the airport.

Twice now I've taken the bullet train NRT-KIX. You buy the ticket for the whole trip at the JR ticket counter in the basement of NRT terminal. Then it's the local JR line to Tokyo downtown station, switch to the Shinkansen line there. ~170 mph I think, all down the east coast. The high-speed part takes about 4 hours to Shin-Osaka. Then get on the subway to Namba.

Not the fastest commute in the world, but one of the coolest. I brought a book but didn't even open it - I just stared out the window.

By the way, the NRT station was very helpful and has a handout with step by step details on this. Just email them and KIX in advance. And you need a mid-trip deviation - the money for first class is about the same as ANA.

As far as USA carriers Continental blows them all away in my book. Better service and even a few good looking flt attendants. They code share with NWA so you can get the miles. NWA sucks and so does United. I fly NWA only when I have to for the miles. Old nasty flt attendants with chips on their shoulders same with United.

I did the EWR-NRT direct the first week of CO's new 777 service way back when I lived in NYC and a few other times later. Would be my first choice from the right coast!

Thanks for replys

Thanks for all the info. Glad I didn't book on JAL!!! I booked on NWA for the points. UAL was not an option, to expensive. AA, no points. And I don't even think CAL was an option from the west coast.
Thanks everyone...
