Ummmmmmmmmm.............. Actually that is one of the parts birds. The owner owns all of his engines (he has a GE repair shop...). You are confusing several different stories. The GE repossesion was during BK a few years ago. He flew the planes into Kinston, NC, removed HIS engines, and called GE and told them they could have their planes back... The one in Stuart has nothing to do with that.

Otherwise, the company is 6 planes now. 2 more in November (2 ex-Atlas 200s, 534MC and don't know the other number). One more -300 in December (from Martinair). And rumors of 3-5 more in 2nd/3rd quarters 2007. Contracts in China (Shanghai to the US), Hong Kong (to the US for NCA), and Korea. The new planes are for Ad Hoc charter stuff. (And rumors of more various Asia contracts)...

Thanks for the info, it does seem like a Polar or Atlas gig, however I have a friend that is a Capt. there. I would rather have QOL then 3 weeks away and crappy pay....

Bud,
If you already know a Captain that flies for Southern, why are you asking us about it?
Just to make the pay and QOL comment?
