40 and 40 are the numbers. Both will be at job fair in Miami in April.

I predicted months ago they would start in March.

Union and company just had to get rid of the pesky furloughees!

Motorclutch usually has accurate info. I would keep an eye on their websites. Of course I am partial to ABX! ;)

Came on here to look for interview info? Nothing is current such as format or any gouge for that matter.

Actually the more Ive researched ATI it seems they furlough and hire in the same years. In the last 10 they've furloughed like 7 or 8 years. Thats kinda scary. I have expat time and US/ICAO certs and can't seem to land any interest with US airlines.

Plus after reading some other post on here I think I may just pass them and try ABX. Holy cow they have some issues there that I dont think will be overcome any time soon. Looking at ABX though and have the same problem, no recent gouge. Not to mention pay difference btw!

Is ABX a good choice? Probably better of the two but seems to me you have another airline at the same company with a much lower payscale. Seems like that the cheaper one may hang on longer but they seem to hire and furlough the most. Abx doesn't seem to have the inner war going on and may offer a better work environment.

Good luck on your interview. If you have skills you probably will get hired. I haven't heard which sim they will be using for the interview ride but I will guarantee that you will be judged on your hand flying abilities. The guys giving you the ride will be fair.

On another note: Our management is just as incompetent as the next however; our sister company is the "land of wayward toys". Nepotism rules at that place.....not to mention a huge b-scale exists for anyone below the 12 year mark. I would stay away!

No recent gouge because neither has hired in YEARS! For ABX, other than a wrongful class a few years ago, they have not hired in 15 years. ATI uses furlough and recall as their staffing model and ABX has a toxic relationship with management as well as a senior-centric pilot group all too happy to have flown overtime while guys were furloughed for seven years and have only last month finally dropped off the list; thusly the openings for new hires.

Is the level B DC-8 sim still up and running? Make them do a hand flown, 3 engine CAT II. That will show you who can fly and who can't.
