FedEx BOS to MEM question
Anyone know of a good way of getting to the ramp in BOS. I don't think you can park there if your not a FedEx employee. I was thinking of trying to ask the hotel you guys stay at if I could park there for the week. What hotel is it?
All else fails I was going to head to the terminal and take the water shuttle bus to the Hyatt and walk down from there. |
Are you starting class or jumpseating? Only reason I ask is because of length of stay as there are a couple of options:
1. Do an off airport parking deal and have them take you to the fedex terminal - tell them your an employee, should be $10 per day. 2. Take a bus to any terminal and then take courtesy bus 66 - water shuttle. That will take you to the terminal. 3. Hotels may work for a night or so, but I wouldn't push it past that. Also, if you live closer, MHT is a good option as it doesn't cost anything to park there. |
Don't have an interview yet but hopefully soon. Trying out for the pro sim job. I am going down to emerald coast interview prep in Columbus, ms on sat.
Thought I would spend a few days in MEM and check it out. I will probable take Logan express to the terminal and walk from the water shuttle stop. Thanks for the info |
http://flightlineinc.com/ has an airline discount from MHT to BOS. Park at MHT then shuttle to BOS. The Massport shuttle will drop you in front of the FedEx ramp.
|
When are you going to be in MEM? I'm going down Sat, be happy to show you around the area if you want.
|
Yeah I used flight line before but I actually have a monthly pass for logan express.
Capt zman, I hope we can meet up. I pm you with my cell. |
Hey DC3Driver where did you fly the DC-3?
|
Once you get to any main terminal at BOS (a-e) go to the lower level and look for the blue and white Massport buses. You will need to look for #66 water shuttle bus and you can ask the driver to drop you off @ FedEx.
Don't try to park at the ramp as you will be ticketed and towed.:( Best of luck U2FDX |
