12 MD-11s 2 747s currently they are flying 3 MD11s N545JN, N542KD, and N513SN. N546JN is coming back this week. They used to be flying more around 8 in the fall with UPS and fedex contracts. Now 3 MD-11s are parked in RSW awaiting new contracts or increased demand. 2 ex Lufthansa MD-11s one is in VCV the other is in OSC being put back together. They also have N512JN in MHV and another MD11 N411SN stored soon to be brought into service. N435KD was in need of maintenance and it finally flew back to RSW with a stop in MEM after maintenance was completed after sitting in London for 3 months. summer has been slow for them.

Yes the 747 has flights looks as if 344 and 346KD are flying ANC NRT ANC ORD and the other plane is flying ICN. they probably hired too many pilots for just 2 planes!

747 slow till august
A good friend of mine is one of the initial cadre on the 747. He just told me he asked for and received a loa for July. He said he would be going back August 1 when the flying is starting to pick up. Doing the Oshkosh/boat/kid thing for July was the plan.

Why would anyone go to Western Global? Ran into a guy who had to pay for his own vaccinations (Yellow fever and so on). He said its a bad place and you have almost no support or help from the company not to mention the pay.

Heavy international time... It was good experience and it got me where I wanted to go... (There isn't much support...)

Yeah that seems a little annoying. They are flying 3 MD11s at the moment out of 12 with 4 in the desert of those 1 had been flying. I think what happened is Neff owns all the planes out right and he just decided let's add some of my 747s. Just not enough business in the summer and too many pilots. During the winter they had a ton of flights going on 8 md11s and both 747s were flying
