DEC are still going on as needed but don’t expect it without significant experience in the theaters western operates.

Upgrades are still around a year and success is completely based on multiple levels of evaluation and recommendation. They are trying to upgrade based on seniority but there is a high washout rate. If you’re asked to upgrade, SERIOUSLY ASK YOURSELF AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY. It’s a put up shut up moment. They will give you everything you need but will not hold your hand through upgrade. The guys who are sitting at the top of the FO list have either tried and not made it, been passed up by others feedback, are not qualified, or just don’t want to. The 11 is a different animal and they make you take it into less than nice places. Regardless, god bless the MD.

All said it was a great and an invaluable experience. It was an difficult job but I loved it. The experiences were great and the people were even better.

Western has had people leave for UPS, American, FedEx, Delta, Southwest, Spirit, Jet Blue, Corp, regional, Kalitta, Atlas, Emirates, Etihad... point is it’s what you make of it.

If you’re negative or that guy... do the Western Pilot group and yourself (in that order) a favor and look elsewhere.
Well put, are you at Brown or Purple now?

You are a naive fool. You are advocating that a pilot give up his position to go after one which he is clearly not qualified for. Can it be done? Not for me to say but given my observation of these things from a training prospective, not likely.

Sure, encourage him to a pink slip and a dent in his career along with a loss of employment.

You have a very serious reading comprehension.

I advocated nothing. I did not recommend anything. I stated facts, and quoted, including you.

You entered to toss insults, as you continue to do, and you still show clearly that you haven't read the material. You've lied, and continue to support your lie.

I encouraged "him" to do nothing. READ the god damn posts before opening your yap, next time.

Don't attribute to me that which I did not say. If you think you can do it, speak for yourself. I can speak very well on my own.

All airliners crash at about the same rate, except two models. The Concorde, and the MD-11.

The Concorde has a 12x higher accident rate than standard, due to the only crash that they had (they ran over runway FOD on takeoff), and the small amount of hours flown.

The MD-11 has a 7x higher accident rate than standard. It has also had a landing accident, where it hit hard, the wing broke off from the fuselage, and then the aircraft rolled over on its back and impacted the ground. That has happened either two or three times. No other transport category aircraft has ever had that type of accident.

You seem to have no comprehension of the meaning to others these words you write. Just admit it and move on.

Let me tell you how what you wrote comes out to most people. “You have total time? Well then come over and just walk into the left seat. What we do is so easy anybody can do it.”

Now this is the part where you try and tell me I am wrong, stupid or something else. Have at it then be gone. You have strayed very far from the thread and I won’t be participating anymore.

Do you lack the intellect to speak for yourself, and so need to attempt to inject words into my mouth? Can you not form a coherent thought by yourself?

You want to use my words, quote me, bright spark. You can't do that, because you're telling a lie. Quoting my words would prove that you lie, but all anyone needs to do is read the thread. This, you haven't done, but instead invent a lie, attribute to me that which I didn't say.

I said nothing about walking into the left seat. I didn't suggest it, recommend it, and made no such invitation. I said nothing about the job being easy, nor the ability of anyone else to do it. Your entire assertion is, therefore a lie. You've been quoted telling it, without any need for me to put words in your mouth, as you've attempted to do.

I made no recommendations. None. If you think otherwise, QUOTE me. You can't, which is why you make up lies.

I haven't engaged in name calling. You did that.

I've no need to tell you that you're stupid. I simply quote you. It's enough. The rest you manage to do on your own. I didn't start this discussion; another poster asked about his qualifications and he was answered by an actual employee of the company whose name is in the title. Your response was nothing more than put downs, and ignorance, clearly without having read the thread. I quoted you. I quoted the other poster, and showed you were incorrect. You have continued to press this line, digging your hole deeper, and suggest I'm drawing the thread away.

No. When a blowhard enters into do nothing but lie in absence of fact, it takes little more than quoting them, as I've done you, to show the lie. You began your comments here with a lie, as you continue to do.

You asserted the other poster has no 121 time. He does. You don't know what his "jet PIC" is in, as he didn't say. You're nothing but lies and assumptions, neither of which benefits anyone, and serves only to embarrass you.

Your move.

Some reading this might say your using "blowhard" could be considered name calling....just saying

Well, let's see. You left off on your way to OE, with name calling and death threats, leaving us all in suspense about what you've been able to "pull off." Perhaps it's time you enlighten.

What do Spirit or Jet Blue have to do with a cargo company like Western Global, or are you simply attempting to stir more ****?
