Default Anyone have a side job?

Week on, week off schedule here. Sitting reserve and flying around 2 or 3 times a bid period. Feel kind of disconnected from real life to be honest, if that makes sense. I'd love to find something to do on the side just to stay busy, socialize, etc. I've been tossing around a bunch of ideas but I'm curious what some of you folks in a similar situation are doing...

Down here in MIA, when not flying the Whale, I do some sim instructing. There is Alteon, Pan Am Flight Academy, and Aeroservice all within a mile of each other, next to MIA.

Sweet ride cactus, that looks like a blast! Giant, sounds like you've got a good gig down there in Miami. I wish I lived down there this time of year. Honestly though, I'd like to find something outside of aviation...

if you like the outdoors get a job at rei, you just need to be available 10 hours a month and you get pro deals , discount lift tickets, 30%off retail and 50% off rei brand gear.......and did I mention pro deals???????( think $700 skis for $200, $300 backpacks for $60......)

plus, depending on your relationship situation..... a lot of hot college or recent college graduate sporty girls work there.

Chilly...
Start painting with the "Bob Ross" method. It takes practice but when you get good, you can start selling off your paintings. Watch an episode!

Default Days off

What days off? On my days off flying charter we do exciting things like laundry, paying bills and sleeping. If you need more flying under horrible, insulting and stressful work conditions to appreciate an afternoon off, let me know. Our place is hiring.
