word is numbers are down 6 total even with all the hiring because attrition and retirements are so high.

Attrition is so high. Mandatory retirements remain relatively low and consistent now and into the future. This place is sinking.

My worry now, it's too late to turn the ship. The attrition will continue to accelerate and the hiring will continue to be poor. This will cause us to lose customers and flying. As the airline shrinks and parks planes because of the lost flying. The next thing will be the "f word"... furloughs!!
I don't want to be in that position.

The company could cut attrition by two thirds tomorrow. Just sign an industry standard contract

If they don't want to do that then I hope attrition doubles!

New hires or anyone considering this place. That is our new reality. Atlas has made it clear they are in for a long legal fight and have zero interest in any negotiation with its pilots.
Translation = contract stays the same and see above.

The band is playing and the life boats are going out. Better grab one before the music stops.

Seems K4 have been getting quite a few app's from Atlas types. We need 120+ new hires this year for the aircraft due to be added and our attrition can now be counted on one hand with fingers left over.
