I have trepidation myself, but no need to spread false info, it doesn't help the cause.
I thought I heard BK say 5 days was most the company made available in any one month. Agree, the truth is bad enough.

November? Sure. Just not this November & doubtful the next ...no guarantees on the following one either...or the one after that...

Relevant - from Atlasfacts.org: "Atlas Air managers are enticing pilot applicants with the false promise of a new contract with improved terms and pay by later this year. But the CEO Bill Flynn is already on record with investors during the February 23, 2017 earnings call explaining that pilot costs will not change this year (i.e. no new contract)"

In this scenario, new applicants are Charlie Brown & they are Lucy, profusely promising to not pull the football away...this time.

As per their bottom line... in the past, young FO'S leaving was really not that big of a deal.

With captains leaving - some of them senior - in addition to stalled expansion however, the game has changed. Something has to change soon or the cost will be a substantial change in how and what we do business with.

With the exception of a degree I have mainline mins. Ive had an app in here for the past 1.5 years. Plenty of others at my company have gotten the call.

I have one RPC bust, on something silly, but it doesnt look like they should be all that bothered by that. I just dont get it.

Rumor is a job fair is the 🔑.

Where do I find out what fairs atlas will be at?

I know your battling for a contract right now and the crappy training pay will be hard for me to deal with but i dont see how industry pressure and things like Connie getting their 40% pay raise wont force Atlas into comming to the table to stay competative. I want to get in before that happens because as soon as Connie got their contract, things got far more competative for getting hired there.

Not that it helps you, but I have a degree, more TT and TPIC, and they haven't called me either.

No idea.

Get a four year degree. Maybe they ARE bothered by your checkride bust. 5Y doesn't have the time to do remedial training.

Maybe you aren't cut out for a major and should just make your life at the regionals. It's OK, most don't make it to the majors, so don't feel bad.

Haha, okay dude.

Apparently you've never worked somewhere where rpc busts are part of the pilot rentention strategy.

Im kidding of course.

But bear in mind, there are two kinds of pilots in the world: those who have made a mistake and those that will.

One rpc bust out of a career of successful checkrides is not an indication of potential struggles. Likely actually as a learning expirence, increases the chances of furture training successes. In aviation the day you think you're perfect is the day you are truely in danger.

As for the degree, its comming. But i wasnt born rich. I had to sacrifice for me flight training and i am having to pay my own way through traditional college while flying full time at a regional.

Builds character, having to fight for what you want in life. You should try It.
