Where To live in the Caribbean

Hey Guys,

My job might have me moving down to the Caribbean in a couple of months. I have never been down there so I was wondering if anybody had info on what areas are nice to live in and which to avoid..

Bases I am looking at are:

San Juan, St. Thomas, St.Croix

Thanks..

San Juan, its cheaper. Not really the apartment, but the whole deal. You will need to buy a car in STX and STT is relativley more expensive. but you can walk to the airport. In SJU you can live in Isla Verde and ride the bus with the rest of the pilots.

Are you working with Cape Air? If so I'd like to PM you with some questions :)

I love St Thomas, but not sure of the logistics of being a pilot there. Just know the locals are cool, the drinks are ok priced and the company I have received while being there have been great, play cards and wake up on the beach in addition to a bed on flying nights... :)

St John is nice. Makes St. Thomas look like Cleveland...which it is.
