Very True! Not Omni, but we’re RON in the Pacific and always good to see Omni packing their 76 here to the gills. I believe the AMCI carriers are very aware of the influx of those with return rights when most of this blows over. Some will get hired, some won’t and they can finally focus on greater experience regarding more initial applicants swinging towards cargo. No doubt we’ll clean them up and put some shine on them for FedEx/UPS, but that suction noise will be far less with the current halt at the Big 3 and the rest for that matter. Only so many seats available at the table and we all can be subject to this mayhem with little or no forewarning.

What's funny is I'd like to work at Omni - I applied many times over the years. I started at a legacy in Q1, and applied to Omni in this recent window, but also recognize that it looks like I will leave if recalled.

If we do pick you up and hopefully we will, you will understand why we are all here. You might be surprised my friend.

Omni Application
Hello All!
I was pretty excited to see that Omni was opening their hiring window. This is perfect timing for me as a very soon to be retired military pilot who has had an eye on Omni for quite a while. I do however feel I made a boo boo on my application. I have just under 1000 turbine PIC time but with the military conversion I would have greater than 1000 hours PIC and about 3500 total time. I selected 0-999 PIC on the questionnaire when in hindsight I should have selected >1000 (adjusted for mil conversion). With all the heavy competition out there I’m thinking this boo boo could easily get me overlooked. Any recommendations from the group would be greatly appreciated.
