That being said there are about 60 FOs who have passed on upgrade on the 747 and about 135 who have passed on the 767. There was a company email referenced in another thread that said there were eight 747 upgrades last year and about 100 767 upgrades. The eight on the 747 didn't even start to keep up with attrition. If you were to be hired now there are 774 FOs below the junior 767 Captain. Those numbers are based on the 31 December 2018 list.

The Atlas retention plan for a while seemed to be "upgrade everyone." Let's face it, an Atlas Captain is still paid less than a First Officer pretty much everywhere else.

Anyone heard if there will be more 74 upgrades this year?

Atlas has its own sub forum in the Cargo section.
I posted it for anyone that happens to stumble upon this old thread from 2019. I was just being neighborly. |
