GrandView are always looking, but I have it on good authority to steer well clear. Apparently they paint a rosy picture during interview process, but deliver none of it. They practice illegal "Rolling Rest" on an 8 on/4 off schedule. Needless to say= crap QOL. Too many other good opportunities in this market to have to put up with that sort of abuse.

8/6 and I think they've only been around for 2 years. I'm certain there were growing pains. It would be very disappointing If they don't follow through with their interview promises

Who's really going to stick around suffering through that crappy quality of life for the bonus? It seems that they claim to abide by 135 rest rules, but in reality will demand that pilots respond to duty assignments during their rest (thus interrupting rest due to an obligation to the company) so as to make them show up at the airport right at their duty on time. Then expect you to work a 14 hour duty day followed by min rest once again. This while being bounced from early morning duty on times one day to evening duty ons the next, without warning. A place to be endured for a year or so to build time perhaps, but to want to stick around for five years? And all of this on an 8 on/4 off schedule. No thanks. Too many other good opportunities!

Grandview update. I like it. Here’s why.
Despite previous GV post, the schedule is now 8/6. Changed November 2018.
There is no rolling rest. There was a period when that may have been accurate, but since spring of 2018, that’s gone. A schedule is published 24 hours out, so aircrew know who they are flying with and when they duty on/off.
Pilots are based in/around Balto/DC area. Duty on at home unless assigned to a trip. I believe it’s still officially 1 hour call out but it’s a small company, and schedulers know who lives where and seem to give enough time to get to work for a trip. I’ve not seen a problem with pilots not having enough time to get to work, (although there may be issues I’m not aware of.)
GV also has an Austin base as well.
Health benefits changed in November 18. They were generous, now even more so.
There was a time when GV ran pilots hard, but now that the pilot pool is finally becoming full, that’s tapered off. Some weeks, you may fly all 8 days, while other weeks, you may fly only a few days out of the 8. If you want to build jet time, you can request as much flying as duty allows.
Excellent jets. 4 Phenom300 in all. New. Well maintained. Rumor mill suggests another Phonom in 2019 followed by something bigger. Anyone’s guess what. Challenger or Legacy would be my guess. But it’s all rumor.
GV is a small but growing company. It’s small enough that everyone knows everyone. Schedulers, management, and pilots all seem to get along very well. This is a positive energy/upbeat company where people seem to enjoy their jobs and each other. At least that’s MY experience.
The company isn’t perfect and has undergone growing pains where they made poor decisions that lost pilots. Since then GV has corrected those errors although there are still some minor problems not fully resolved, overall, the management seems committed to continually improving and making GV an even better place to work. I like that.
A year ago I was 100% ready to quit! But changes made since summer have turned it around and my opinion of GV has switched as well.
The 8/6, the schedule, the benefits, and the positive energy of the pilots and staff who show they like it there make GV a positive work place for me.
I am very happy there and have absolutely NO regrets joining up and have no intention to leave soon.
