Yes, the 12 month $37,000 contract applies to SICs also. Got off to a rough start cancelling the first day inaugural flight due to maintenance. Other than most flights running quite late every day, they seem to be well on their way. At one time it was $50,000 start for SIC. It's now $55.55 per block hour with no minimum monthly guarantee posted. Hoping it continues. Was just hard to justify the paycut from my non flying job. Good folks.

So no longer salaray??! I honestly have no idea why someone would work there unless you live in Carlsbad. Even then, I'd have my resume ready to go regardless.

Not certain but that's how i read it. Was a tough choice not to pursue the opportunity since I live 5 miles from CRQ. But the compensation, training contract and the uncertainty of it's future weighed heavy. Would be curious to hear what kind of Pax loads they're getting.

Send your Resume to Elite. We are hiring and have no contract, home basing, $60K salary to start. We used to fly the CRQ-LAS route for CALJET until they couldn't pay the bills.

What would make me nervous is the fact that its not salary. Its low hourly pay with no guarantee?! So there's no guarantee I might make rent this week? That alone sounds extremely sketchy. Training contract? The Cajones on these guys. Clearly out of touch with reality living in yesteryear. At least you shouldn't be too concerned about a training contract, you don't have to pay if they fold I assume. Give JL a shout.

The old saying “Tuition comes at a high price” comes to mind. They don’t find talent to fly the jet.... then the jet remains on the ground as an advertising billboard.... very costly advertising too... simple.

Rough days for CPAir with daily delays and cancellations due to mechanical issues. Based on their Facebook page, not a lot of happy pax.

Appears to have had mech. issues in IWA. Looks like it's to return to CRQ this afternoon. Hope to see them iron out the issues. A convenient service when it works..
