Does not need a visa as long as they are not living in the U.S, you can fly any N registered airplane anywhere in the world if you have a FAA medical and a US pilot certificate.

You Are correct about N registered aircraft outside of the US. You are not correct about working for a 121 carrier that touches US soil with said pilot at the controls.

They can trust me, just are not allowed to live in the United States or be in country longer than the stay or visa length

Some of them have a c1 and c2 visa which allows them to temporarily fly in the US. But since they’re needed in Europe they were sent to Europe pretty much right away

Yeah....those aren’t work visas. They’re a US 121 carrier, using European contract pilots, who pay for the “line training”, “base” them in Europe, they fly N registered aircraft and occasionally operate them on US soil. Nothing to see here...

Ok? Just like when sunwing, Aeromexico, smart wings are doing flying in the US for various companies. Sunwing is here in Europe doing flying for smart wings too. Smart wings was in the US doing flying for us with our FAs out of different cities for our vacation flying. I call it the pilot/airline exchange program.

If you believe MEXI...., or 4RUNNER....,
The one common thread is that if you are a low time Pilot, with little or no transport category time, Swift is the company that will train you for FREE... FREE 737 type, and within a year, move on to greener pastures. Swift is the new training ground. But, remember that you will have to put up with all the bul*****, as mentioned by all the other comments that are in this thread.
But most important, consider what a violation would do to your future.
Once again, if yo believe MEXI, you will come for the TYPE, if you believe others, you will stay where you are, or go to a Regional 121 company. But you must understand that this outfit is not a easy place to work. As a mater of fact, It seems like the new owners are of the same 36th street mentality. Make sure you read this thread thoroughly, before making your decision.

Those are airlines doing contracts. Not foreign pilots staffing domestic aircraft. You’re what the Brits refer to as “daft”.

Again if you don’t want to be here leave. The door is open. There’s no training contract holding you. Xjt is hiring and say their 8yr upgrade is becoming 4. I still know some guys there, maybe I’ll get a referral bonus. If you ever feel on the road you need to leave and hate it here, I will gladly take your ID and iPad from you and tell scheduling to send you home. We don’t need that crap, I got other things to worry about.

We have problems like everyone else. We’re small so your perspective is so limited vs a big airline where you have hundreds of acft and things like this happen daily but you never see it because of scale.

Like everywhere we have good and bad pilots who follow the standard and those who feel the need to be test pilots. We know who they are and they’re marked believe me. We have had incidents like any airline. How many times has southwest gone out of the runway. Delta has landed on taxiways, flown through hail etc. Imagine how many things happen at the majors that happen on a daily basis you never hear about. However even at our scale it doesn’t happen daily like everyone wants to make it seem.

Every airline has good and bad captains. If you have a problem with one then say something. Complaining about it on a board just makes make you trash the place that pays your check while you stand there and do nothing about the situation, because then guess what you’re part of the problem then. On the other hand I rather help this place become a great place to work and where we all have fun and enjoy what we love and be safe doing it.

Now if you want to know about swift then ask me, I will always tell you the good the bad and the ugly at the interviews. That’s why we bring you to GSO now. We want people who want to be here. No one is forcing you to be here. If you want to work in a challenging place that is up and coming then come here. We have really good people here who care and love what they do. We have an uphill road and a ways to go, but I know at the end of the day we can all have dinner and a beer and have fun.

If you’re considering swift buyer beware what you read here. Seems any board on here is all negative, even those top gun pilots at Dixie are complaining and bashing their company. I will be glad to talk to you and send you info.
