It's being saved until the time is right. That's also not the only recording out there

Most 121 Sup Ops still requires true aviators. Regionals make it way to easy for the restricted ATP pilots and they should because of lack of knwledge and expierence. If you want a challenge on how very well seasoned older airline pilots got the job done and still do as aviators than 121 Sup OPS is your thing. If you do stick with it and learn, it will just make you a much better pilot and give you a better understanding of a scheduled ops deals with that a 121 sch pilot has no idea of. If not stay at the regionals be your self intitled pilot who has no idea of what the real world of flying used to be or still is to a degree. Regional pilots just show up they dont manage its done for them.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry reading this. You a management troll right?
True aviators? What a joke
Seasoned older airline pilots? Is that PC speak for Blue Falcons that can’t get hired anywhere else?

Anyone that wanted MIA got it. Some west coast guys got IWA and a couple of guys that wanted home base got MIA. With the upgrades most coming from home basing will open slots for those guys to move. I think 4 FOs are starting upgrade class this week.

So no upgrades will be home based at the moment?

Who are you trying to reach here? Are you afraid of something or someone here? Because I work here, I live everyday of this. What are you gaining from cautioning anyone at this company who relate the same complaints over a period of years? ...

1. Someone holding a gun to your head forcing you to work there?

2. You think you're the only one who ever flew for a crap operator?! Thanks, Capt Second Coming for rising up to save us all. I've been through Alpine, Xtra, and the dodgy joint I mentioned above.

Maybe have a chat with the pilots toiling at Sliver...

What I am EMPHATICALLY saying is that whistleblower protection is a load of BS. It does not protect anyone. In fact it is like Mao's 1000's flowers. It allows the institution to identify, target, and prune the thorns.

Look, my friend, I don't know you from Adam. No hidden agenda on my part. Just some friendly advice, but yeah, as you correctly perceived, *I didn't write it for you*.

Anyway, you are talking too loudly to hear anything but your own voice.

I recommend, instead, that you talk with your feet.

Best of luck either way, my fellow aviator. I really do wish you the best.

It seems the underlying issue here (as it pertains to this thread) is broken promises, unethical practices, and poor morale at Swift.

Whistleblowing is a waste of time for the most part I agree - it only paints a bigger target. The majority of line pilot posters here agree on the issues though.

I hear you. The critical thing for each of us, is to make that hard call that is right there in front of us. Day 6 of a six day trip and you are in one horse no-wheresville Podunk airport ... Fill in the blank ____ pack inop, eec falis... Call maintenance... "Fly it back, we will fix it here".

Or you are at 101 hours. Or hour 15 of duty. Do you cancel the flight?

If we don't make the hard call at the hard time, then we are part of the problem.

If the flight is not legal, not in accordance with SOP, or conducted while fatigued, then please, for goodness sake, don't come here and complain about it after the fact. If you took that flight, then you are part of the problem and you have forfeited the right to complain.

Cancelling illegal flights sends a powerful message, is the right thing to do, is the best way to effect change, and in my humble experience doesn't mess up your career.

If, on the other hand the flights are all legal, then the problem is with work rules. Get a union or make every effort to go somewhere that has work rules more to your taste.

So you’re flying with a Capt who all day long tells you “we will NOT extend”.
All day long...
At podunk airport at 11:15pm he agrees to a bogus extension.
So what do you do as an FO?
Grab your bag and walk with pax boarding?
Nobody will do that and putting it on the shoulders of FO’s is lame.
