Thanks for the advise, and life lessons. But you are changing the subject. All of us have bills to pay. However, I am adamant on my position that they owe us our longevity bonus. $4000 in my case. Definitely helps with the bills. Some of our Crewmems did catch COVID19, and racked up enormous hospital cost. But as you put it, the 15 million dollar house in Miami recently purched by one of our executives, will be spotlighted on the next CRIBS. He can afford it, but can't afford to pay us what was promised. Trust me, when I tell you, you are not respected for you work, nor your blind loyalty. Its raining, but if does not smell like rain, it looks yellow, doesn't taste like rain water, there is a something wrong.

For his sake, I hope they did the pencil whipping properly on that purchase that happened right after Swift got their loan. People have already gotten taken in by the feds for using PPP funds to buy luxury personal items. Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if he made the news before long for this one...
the purchase of that property was started last year, after iAero bought swift. Not defending him, the optics and timing of that article were terrible

Hiring?
Hey everyone,
I saw a post that iAero is going to start pilot classes in the fall. Does anyone have additional information on this and what minimums/competitive flight experience will land an interview? https://www.airlinepilotcareers.com/iaero-airways provides some useful information, but I was hoping to get a little better idea of a competitive applicant. Thanks.

We expect to open hire this fall in the condition of some of our flying returning such as NCAA and possibly Cuba in November. Depending on those numbers they will green light a class that would be online most likely beginning of the year.
Numbers right now are purely speculative still as this situation changes all the time. They said we will be running a small upgrade class to balance the FO and CA numbers.
There is a class pool from April and may and those guys will be offered an opportunity first to fill the classes.
We don’t even know how we’ll do interviews again yet. We might start as zoom before face to face resumes.
Our requirements are still as follows:
ATP MEL(for civilian pilot)
2500TT
500ME
Legal right to work in the USA
US passport preferred
Jet time preferred
No DUIs
Minimal 121 failures.
We tend to mostly feed from the regionals and big 135s.
Must be able to commute or move to SAT BRO AEX, those are junior bases. Do not expect home basing for a long time, do not let that be your reason to come here as it will be a while now.
Check out the Facebook page for updates.

Nothing Google can't answer...
The WARN Act requires employers to give employees 60-day notice when:
What is the WARN Act?
The WARN Act is a law that protects workers from the impacts of unexpected loss of employment by requiring employers to give notice to employees. The WARN Act defines loss of employment as employment termination, a layoff exceeding six months or the reduction of working hours by 50% in six months. The WARN Act requires employers to give employees 60-day notice when:
- Closing a facility will lead to loss of employment for at least 50 employees. However, this notice does not cover employees who are employed for 20 hours a week or less, or employees who have worked less than six months for a company.
- At least 500 employees who work on an employer’s site for 30 days will be laid off. The employees who will be laid off should comprise at least 33% of actively working employees at the employer’s site. The act does not cover employees who have worked for less than six months or those who work less than 20 hours a week.
- The seller must provide notice before the sale date and time. The buyer must provide employees with a notice of a plant closure or mass layoff after the sale date and time.
- The employees of the seller will immediately become the employees of the buyer after the sale.
- The notice should also inform any affected areas of the sale date and time.
- If the sale of the business will not result in plant closure or mass layoff, employers are not required to give notice.
