Overnights are at the outstations so unless you live in MCN, TUP, TBN, PKB, CEC, or PGA you’ll be in a hotel for each night of your rotation. SBA is the only line of flying that starts and ends in base each day.

Thanks, FlyBoy443. Does the 18/12 rotation apply to operations in the East as well? What is an average length of duty day?

PHX F/O- Questions

I see there’s a F/O position posted for Phoenix and I am considering applying for it but have a few questions:
What is the upgrade time frame? I currently have 1800hrs Total time, 1035 Multi, 20hr Turbine without ATP- How long could I expect to wait?
Also, what is the Interview like? What is the per diem rate and bonuses (if any)? Are there opportunities to fly more and additional pay for such, or is the position salary all one gets?

Is it possible to get street hired at Contour into a Captain position? Possibly interested in MCN base. Any MCN pilots in here? What are the rotations like? Just out and backs to BWI? Thanks

Depending on your qualifications they do hire street Captains. MCN I believe has out and backs to BWI. You're home every day. Schedule is roughly 18 on 12 off (not consecutive) but you'll know your schedule for the whole month by the end of the previous month.

What type of flights does the crj do? How much does it pay? Schedules?

I see they are hiring for a 135 CA for SMF. Anyone know what the schedule and routes are for SMF based? Are they out and back, home every night?Overnight somewhere else, if so where? Any info would be appreciated

But why Contour with your times?

We have a line of flying that starts and ends in SMF each day. Usually three day consecutive days of flying then off for a few. Always a chance you could be assigned another line where the potential overnight locations are CEC, PGA, and SBA but if you live in SMF I would expect to start in SMF and fly the SBA and PSP routes.
