Default DA50 Overrun at KGMU

The lamest NTSB accident report imaginable.

That crew was very lame itself.
Not qualified to be PIC.
Had been flying an unairworthy aircraft WITH PASSENGERS.
Another PIC knew of the problems and didn't write them up - just verbal debrief (?)
Psuedo-PIC knew of the issues having flown as SIC the previous 4 flights and still didn't perform the procedures on landing.
This mishap reeks of the stink that shady 134.5 operators bring onto the industry IMO.

Interesting. The NTSB isn't usually that afraid to call out the FAA.

I’m assuming the POI was aware of the aircraft in storage and it’s subsequent being readied for operations again.

Just my 2 cents: I think anytime there is that much blatant disregard for rules / regulations that the question of oversight would naturally come up. The NTSB report seemed very thin considering some of the factors involved with this crash. Sometimes shining a spotlight on the undermanned / underfunded agency tasked with ensuring the safety of the flying public might not be a good idea.

I don't know how that process begins or ends.
What if they knew about trying to get it back up working again but the flights were under the table?

Did this company already have a 'rap sheet' with the POIs?

If they did I could see tighter scrutiny, if not until something happens....

Someone should go to jail. Seriously. The Feds sweep serious stuff under the carpet and make a huge deal of minor things.
