Regionals and other Supplementals are offering far better terms and conditions with short times to he left seat. Think long and hard before signing on with the $18,000 training bond.

Miami Air Int'l leasing a Belgian B737 for Apple contract
Miami Air International (LL, Miami Int'l) has leased a B737-800 from TUIfly (Belgium) (TB, Brussels National) ch-aviation research has revealed.
According to FlightRadar24 ADS-B data, OO-JAA (msn 29660) was positioned to Lansing, Michigan this past weekend as part of a maiden contract with Apple Vacations.
A statement said that between December 26, 2016, and April 17, 2017, MAI will run a total of ninety departures from Lansing to each of Punta Cana, Cancún, and Puerto Vallarta.
Apple Vacations operated a similar contract last year albeit out of Detroit Metropolitan. It elected to switch to Lansing this year given its more central location for Michigan travellers.

Looks like it's 90 departures to three different cities. So that's 540 flights total that will not be operated by Miami Air pilots.
Scope? Management doesn't care about our scope or our contract.
Welcome to the Miami Air way of business!
For those of you looking at us.... be very careful! We have hired a lot of guys recently and they are leaving way before their training contract is over simply because conditions/pay are so horrible here, and the industry has much better opportunities for anyone out there. Don't get stuck in the Miami Air web.

Here are some. Keep in mind we are a small company with only 7 aircraft at the moment.
-CA's will see raises ranging from 11-29% depending on Seniority.
-FO's will see raises ranging from 17-41% depending on Seniority.
-Short call will pay 2.5 hours up from zero before.
-Deadhead will pay 50%, also up from zero before.
-Elimination of the $18,000 training bond for all current and future pilots.
-Voluntary Day Off pay increased from $250 to $315 for FOs and from $300 to $375 for CAs.
-Involuntary Day Off pay increased from $500 plus credit towards guarantee to $600 plus a minimum of 4 hours paid above guarantee.
-Domestic per diem increased from $1.50/hr to $2.00/hr
-International per diem stayed the same at $2.50/hr but the definition of international now changed to anything outside the contiguous 48 states. So Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and even Alaska count as international.
-eCrew so we can finally stop using paper schedules and getting emailed our schedules.
-12 Hard days off per month for a normal line or 14 for the new 16 day lines. The 16 Lines have a lot of restrictions (such as only for 1 customer or 75% of the layovers must be at the same location) and can only be up to 10% of the total lines on a bid packet.
-16 Day Line will award a 78 hour guarantee and 14 hard days off per month.
-ALL days off that conflict with vacation on an awarded line are to be moved, before you would lose 1 day per 7 day vacation period if it conflicted.
-Some new restrictions on TDY's.
-New hard restrictions on lodging requirements vs our old "guidelines".

Probably $1.00 above Food Stamp eligibility even with the raise for new F/O's under the new contract.
