New bases are inevitable. We currently have language in our contract which states that MSP will be the only domicile so there's going to have to be some agreement between the Union and management to open a new base or bases. This winter it was said that nothing will open in at least 18 months. As far as what those bases may be is purely speculation at this point.

When can I apply?
Looking to come to Sun Country. Currently with a regional and commuting is getting old. On the website it says 2000 hours with 500 multi pic. I have 0 multi pic, and around 1800 hours now with only about 500 of those being turbine.
At what point is it worth throwing in an application. I have 0 baddies, 4 year degree, so its just the hours that are keeping me from applying. Someone here said most have around 2700 hours. Am i jumping the gun here?

Training contract
On the airline profile it says that they have a training contract pro rated 18 months and 20.000 $. Do you still have to sign this contract even if you have a type with lots of hours in the B737?
Thanks for your help!

Yes, in the past...one did have to sign the training contract even if already typed and with 737 hours. No sure if that still holds true today.

Lol.
So you’ve been commuting for what? Four months?
Long career ahead of you. Good luck.
