Are the pay scales on APC accurate? $31/hour 70 hour guarantee first year? $51/hour second year? How are guys covering their bills with pay that low?

Simple, don't work for carriers that don't pay you your "worth". You have a highly technical skill. The sooner we all do this, the better it will be for all of us!

Unfortunately we are still operating under a bankruptcy contract ... So it is what it is!

Great idea in theory. In practice, there are way too many pilots who will fly at poor paying, non-Union or whipsaw airlines either to build time and move on or "just trying to feed the family"

Until there is a REAL National Pilot Union with a National Seniority List and a National equipment pay scale, it will never happen.

Thanks for the info! How are the reserve rules? How long to be off reserve assuming you were hired in the next few months? Are you guys still doing a lot of 5+ day trips doing DOD charters?

Whale
With that being said, did you ever fly for a regional, flight instruct, or fly part. 135 freight? Not all jobs start off paying six figures.
