But it's a crazy industry and stranger things have happened. I think it's more likely (though still unlikely) that Southwest would buy them. SWA needs airplanes more than they need pilots but they would figure out a way to integrate them and it would be a giant windfall for SY pilots, who would increase their income and superior job security.
Nevertheless, I don't think either scenario is likely, but the second one at least seems plausible.

Hmmmm... G4 Big shot shows up at SY right before they go for sale??? Seem's like the writing is on the wall to me. And you think WN is gunning for the purchase? Nope. Get ready for Airbus training folks. But please stay in MSP... :-)

Apparently M is looking for an investor and JB needs cash to grow to 50 more airplanes in 6 years. West coast base and HI flying has been talked about.....take it FWIW, just a rumor from check airman in a meeting. Side note Jude thinks the branding of "the lakes" and the dumb as hell WCCO announcement does SY no justice for an airline in a position for growth outside MN...go figure ��
