What is this BS that seat supporters are now being required to sit in on orals and fly full profile as if it were their own checkride. Worse part is the union chairman just did a checkride and had a seat supporter sit in and allowed it to happen.
Sounds like the FAA needs to know that SY is holding these seat supporters to multiple checkrides. If this is the case these seat supporters should have their checkrides marked as complete and their base month should be adjusted. It’s one thing to be seat support, but that is it. They should not be asked oral questions and should not be held to a full checkride. Most of these guys are called in on a last minute call, and held to the same standard as the pilot that was aware and able to study for weeks ahead of time.

Note: I would have applied for SC, except that they were never hiring when I needed a job. Sounds like a pretty great airline.
I lived 3 places in MN. It is a great place to live, as long as you can deal with the colder temps in Winter.

Is this true?? I heard a buddy of mine say that one guy passed his initial training and then had to take another full checkride to change his training month or something? And then not only that he had to take a third checkride because the company failed to provide him a qualified captain on the second ride. I head this happened a few times over there and they just say....oh well!
Does the union offer any protection at all over this stuff at all?

Union can't provide any protection for pilots on probation.

Has anyone else heard this rumor about a major conflict of interest within the ASAP/FOQA program?
I'm not going to say who or why just in case it is a rumor, but if true, our ASAP program is pretty much worthless. As if there wasn't enough doubt in the program already.

Got an email this week to start the interview process with the hogan personality test. This will be my first interview process other than at my current regional (and that was almost a joke how easy it was) any info on prep websites for sun country or if it's worth it or not?
