Any word on what he thinks about the rest of the announcements? Those need serious tweaking

Those other announcements are an abomination of epic proportions.

Thinking about throwing my app in, currently an FO at OO wanting to stay based in MSP. When it comes to personal references on the application, do they like to see a certain type of person? I have a range of people to use, Captain's I've flown with, check airman, previous employers, long time friends. Any idea who I should put down?

For references use people that can speak to your pilot skills and personal character. You're competitive at 3k hours TT.

Women in Aviation, and their local "Stars of the North" chapter, would be a good org to join and participate in if you want SY.

Thanks for the info. Got a few questions answered from a SY pilot in my Jumpseat the other day. Got me a little excited about SY as an option. I'm right about 2500TT so maybe a little under competitive but worth a shot still. Reading on the SY profile on here it says hours above 75 hours is paid at 150% is that correct? So if I had a line and flying 85 hours I'd have 10 hours paid at 150%?

Also what is training pay? Just guarantee of 75 hours? Any per diem or anything extra?

I read the article, looks to me like someone leaked the email for Sun Country employees to the star tribune. No quotes from anyone at Sun Country to the article.

In the comments section on startribune.com everyone is complaining about the more seats means less leg room. The article doesn't mention how they might achieve more seats. They might take a row of first class out or first class all together to add more coach seats. More seats doesn't necessarily mean less leg room on the sun country planes (if they shrink first class). Any way, to bad they went with the article with out getting more information on how Sun Country will achieve their plan. Jude just started, I'd say give him some time to work some magic.

23- 700/800's, Jude wants to get rid of the -700's and add 5-7 -800's every year until the fleet reaches 50+. Large task. He has openly admitted the contract needs improvements in pay in order to achieve that goal as well. He's certainly got his hands full and clearly ****ed off the general sun country flying public with his plan. It's not been widely well received.
