I specifically remember you Mr Disaster, stating how much you wanted to to fly the mighty 737 to Hawaii and how you would be senior to me and take my job 😔

Coming up in MSP. Any tips or info? Btw, I had no recs. I did it all on my own. All this new guy talk has me quite interested. The MSP base and 20,000$ contract, not so much. They will have to do something me thinks to retain and or attract people. Endeavors new TA alone will take quite a few people.

Thank s for any info.

I absolutely wanted to be senior to you again, but I assure you I never wanted to fly the 737.

I don't think you have a chance at being senior to me again, unless some really weird things happen 🤔

A lot of exciting things happening at SY right now. Latest is they're looking to hire as many as 120 in 2018... that's up from 60. Jude (CEO) was in New York last week lining up financing to buy (not lease) more airplanes. All but 1 of the -700s are going back with plans to double the fleet size to 50 in the next 3 years. There's talk of a new base but hard to tell where that will be.

CEO is ambitious but seems to have the knowledge, skills, and track record to execute on his plans. Upgrade is looking closer to 2 years than the current 3...

I've heard upwards of 150 new hires and 35 upgrades. They know the pay and contract is sub par and expect attrition to remain about 4-5 a month in 2018 as well. Management does not want to accept the fact you have to pay a competitive wage if you want to grow or remain in business. I think the total fleet plan is 55 planes by 2022. That's 40 -800's in 5 years... minus the 5-700's and returning one -800. Good luck!!

JetBlue is coming to the Twin Cities, bringing a new airline choice to Minnesota travelers.
The New York-based airline announced Tuesday it will begin operating three daily nonstop flights between Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport in May.

I keep hearing from people I know there that moral has gone down the crapper in the last year. As an outsider looking in - why would I want to fly at sun Country? What would keep me there if this is CEO number 4??? for this company in the last couple years? All prior CEO's had same plans and same ambitions didn't they?...I'm asking in sincere honesty. Are they having trouble getting people in the door at all? Are other contracts at the regional levels better than what they have so people are not willing to jump on their ship? Just curious because it seems like they just don't have what I think would lead me to want to jump from where I am to where they are.
