ABX has the STC and most of the ABX 767s still flying have these, along with all ATI 767s (except for N712AX). American also has some throughout their 757/767 fleet but I heard they might be ripped out very soon.

A lot of the older ABX 767s were just parked at ILN for a long while and these airplanes just have the EADI/EHSI set-up; I think N702AX (N650GT) was one of them.

Wow - that looks great. Nope, we've got the EADI/EHSI setup.

isands has a really nice setup...it's pretty much a plug and play.

This may be what ABX has. I have a friend who is retrofitting a pair of 737-400's with the system that essentially upgrades the aircraft to a 737-900 cockpit. He loves the install.

ATC....

Yeah that is the IS&S panel we're talking about. I knew a 737EFIS IS&S upgrade was out there but had no idea if anyone had done it yet. I don't think what SWA is doing for their -300s is IS&S but I could be wrong.

It is really nice. All plug-play units and really drops the OEW of the airplane but there is one thing that I noticed that could drive someone crazy. When MCP and/or speed changes are made, the change is enlarged for a second or so on the PFD/MFD. Smart idea but as you climb and IAS gets lesser and lesser, it will flag every single change in the IAS even though you're in VNAV and/or thru the change over point. Kinda gets annoying....

They apparently had a few bugs that have now been worked out for the 737 upgrade. My understanding was that they tried to just use the 75/76 package and didn't fully work out the software interface. They've already started the flight test acceptance and will finish later this month.

The reason for the screen/data enlargement? That's a special STC mod.

It's called, "Hey STOOPID!! Put your cheaters back on!!"
