Not a Trump fan, but it still made me laugh.
I can't make Orange Air great again. It will take many to make Orange Air what is was before the owners pulled the pull on operations. I'm just a small part.
Braniff DC-8 said: Well, actually, I wouldn't mind knowing. I think his intent is harmless besides it's the D.O. that's the issue. There would have to be a good reason to leave Via to go back to OA. Honestly johnnyprop, wish you the best. Sorry I was a bit rude to you.
From my perspective, it wasn't the DO, it was the owners. I really thought that OA was going to be sold to folks who really wanted to take the airline to the next level. Instead, I walked into a meeting where the owners said to terminate almost everyone and cease operations.
As for my return, it wasn't Via, it was an opportunity to finish something I spent 2 1/2 years trying to build with a group of professionals that I respected. Some are coming back, some are not. I fully understand both camps and I wish those choosing not to return the best.
If anyone is interested in the future, I'll post more as details are released and if the owners allow public disclosure.
